Patriarchy and Women's Sexuality Are Political
Patriarchy is about sex. How could our female sexual behavior not be political? Women of all sexual orientations, including many self-identified feminists, strongly resist the idea that their sexuality is political. Heterosexual and bisexual women want to keep living the traditional heterosexual lifestyle because that lifestyle grants them social and economic privilege and status. Many lesbians don't want their sexuality politicized because they're afraid of heterosexual and bisexual women pretending to be lesbians.
