How I Moved From a Publicity Assistant to an Editor in Three Years
I started at Simon & Schuster as a publicity assistant I was there for six months and then an editorial assistant in house. Six months later I commissioned my first book which was Everyday Sexism by Laura Bates. We ask every guest about money and in those early years bearing in mind you know you didn't have family in London that you could kind of live with, how did you make it work? You can access culture there in a way that just wasn't available to me and my friend in Wales that wasn't on our doorstep so but it was really hard.
