The Importance of Culture in the Modern World

In extreme versions of patriarchy, women do all the hardest work and they're generally exploited for the benefit of men. Without coalitions of women to advance their point of view, men's point of view goes unchallenged. In a more broad sense, environment and material practical conditions determine culture but culture ends up becoming a part of the practical conditions in a sort of feedback loop.
