In the flourishing at school podcast, we talk about two different dimensions to well being a mental health. The feeling good part is things like general life satisfaction and often kind of an absence of things like stress. And then I think that the functioning well part is interesting so this is often like in the research what we call eudaimonic. It actually expects some negative emotions in fact things like stress are necessary to achieve your goals.
