Theodore Herzl and the Zionist Federation
The Zionist Federation, referred to in the Declaration, was the British chapter of the Zionist Organization. Established in 1897 under a man named Theodore Herzl. Their mission was to establish a sovereign state for the Jewish people. Most felt that they had to live elsewhere and went to the United States.
