I've Never Written Like Eight to Ten Hours a Day

The book is about a eight year old boy who has autism and of course it's fiction but he kind of like has a talent or a gift in that he can communicate with chimpanzees on a certain level. He uses what I call a mental picturing where he can see things in his mind. The mother wants to take the son away from the chimps because she doesn't want the boy mimicking what she calls monkeys, not animals.
