The C-Hairs Coffin Cane
The church admits that the plates wouldn't fit in them because they admitted or they just display it. The next thing is these coffin canes. Oliver Boardman Huntington's journal says, I had with me a cane made of the rough box hastily nailed together into body which the Prophet Joseph Smith's was placed after he was murdered and brought to the Nauvoo from Carthage. In the top of the cane was a lock of his hair which was taken from his head. This is written during an article on martyrdom by Stephen Barnett who later became a BYU professor. He talks about the description of the cane as being 33 inches long and having a half-inch hollowed knob containing a lock
