Wimbledon has a 28 person grounds crew that cuts and mops the courts every single morning. Home rentals are another big thing when it comes to sporting events like this. There's an 11% increase year over year with the men's and women's singles winners taking home $2.9 million each. Wimbledon requires a staff of 6,300 workers but 1,300 of those workers are employed by the all England tennis club.
