Is Science Falsifiable?

A lot of the argument for science as an epistemic discipline is that it's falsifiable, right? You can falsification is this key criterion. Once science gets into this territory where it's very difficult to falsify a theory, it's getting away from kind of the foundation that's supposed to give science this ike extra claim to authority in the first place. What do you make of that?
