How to Fix the Ball and Make It Tackier

There are three teams without mascots. We could just give those three, three of the Reds mascots and then everyone would have a mascot. The advantage of having a tackier ball is that any substance could be banned. Could you possibly have additional stickiness just from your own bodily fluids, just the sweat once? It's like the argument that MLB owners would lower ticket prices if they didn't have to pay big contracts. They're going to charge as much as they think people are willing to pay.
