Psychology and psychiatry can do nothing with them except call them aberrations, unless psychiatrists and psychologists have themselves explored these experiences. Why should we pursue them? Because you have to deal with them. And so in just the same way there are dimensions beyond the imagination that our ordinary academic education gives us.
