The Culture of Aging and Dying
The culture is changing from seeing old people as sort of cast off type thing. We're going from being a hunting tribe to being a gathering tribe where we start to honor our elders. The gray panthers are really, it's a new pirate. This is pretty soon all buses will have low steps and sidewalks low because look who's running the scene. And it's interesting that shift in the cultural perspective. You know that by the year 2000, one quarter of the population will be over 65 and by the year 2040 half of it will be because of the baby boom and all that. So it's interesting.
