Using a Dense Tech Sensor to Sort Screws
A team of graduate researchers is thinking about how we can use our dense tech sensor to perform a screw sorting task. We really want to bring this down to a place that has traditionally been hard for robotics to do, which is manipulating objects between single contact points using soft robotics. And so by doing so, we could say if I have three screw types, red, blue and green, if I have two blues, a green and a red and I want to sort the blues, I can figure out how I should roll my fingers together.
