Currently we use two different co-stimulatory domains clinically, as you mentioned, 4-1 BB and CD28. What are these domains or co-stims come from? Is there some benefit of one over the other? Yes. So formerly, B and CD28 are two of several different proteins that are on the surface of T-cells. And they essentially signal alongside the TCR, the T-cell receptor, to sort of refine the signal that the T- cell gets when it sees an antigen.
