Bitcoin Wallets - Is There a Better Way to Get Your Funds?

i feel like we're still pretty early in the bitcoin game, and we shouldn't just lock ourselves into how we've always done it. In that sense, i agree, in this particular model, they'd make some interesting trade offs that you don't really have. There is no seed because the device is too dumb, cannot handle be 39. But then the problem now that i see is collusion between two server entities offering you the signing part of your funds. For a small amount it doesn't matter. The repetition of these companies is more important. So even if they get hacked and start signing people's funds, they'll probably make everybody whole. It would be in their interest.
