Paxos vs Raft - What Are the Best Guarantees?
Paxos is an algorithm that does not compromise. If it can't give you the right answer, it won't give you an answer. It will never ever compromise on consistency. So we can use this to build really strong consistency guarantees. And then I think many people, or at least I certainly see them come up together, know Raft in contrast to Paxos.
