It looks like x86 is actually very much capable of catching up in terms of performance per watt to what Apple is doing in ARM. At least for the general let's say middle range. So this means we don't really have to want Linux devices that run with ARM CPUs because it will be harder to support. It basically nullifies the absolute need that could have a reason to have ARM dedicated well ARM running laptops or even desktops for Linux. And also do you know who will use these chips? Framework as they've just announced that their new Ryzen based revision will use either six cores or eight cores respectively.
