Dennis Kogan: In the introduction of your book, you quote someone else as interpretation and basically conclusion of Morris. He says it's said that Morris contributed precious little in the debates; he spoke often but to scant or negative effect. So how did you go about this investigation? You set out to explore all the things that his contemporaries had said rather than this person I just quoted here. And again, most of all, he does write the Constitution itself.Kogan: The preamble has become one of the most celebrated sentences in the annals of democracy. It came from this guy who has somewhat elitist inclinations for some reason.
