How to Keep Greens Fresh for Longer

Lettuce will stay fresh for a month if you wash it and put it in your fridge. Asparagus and broccoli also can stay fresh for around a month so you just want to trim the ends around 10 days which open up the vascular system of the plants. I don't often buy already cut lettuce when it gets recalled all of the time, that's very very true. We have a grocery budget of $135 per person and we only go to the grocery store once every three weeksso I know exactly like I haven't been to the store in three weeks and I still have fresh this system this in my fridge that I can make meals with.
