Why Should We Care?
I doubt I ever made more than working for the family business by six, seven times more than our median worker. My dad felt strongly that the people who worked in our factories created virtually as much value as we did. We believe that if there were excess profits, we should put them back in the business. That's how we kept our tax burden low. And, and that's why we had a successful enterprise. This is just neoliberalism run amok. It's they're paying workers less so that they can make more.
