"There was a value system created for me for being creativefor seeing things before they happened, for tricking people," he says. "My dad didn't really value those things as much as as what you perceived, or what you created, or how you expressed yourself." He talks about how hard it was to be elfish and take shots when he could see a better pass until nelly just told him, either you shoot or you sit on the bench with me.
