How Do You Decide What to Write About?

How do you decide what to write about? If i know my answer, if it is something that i think is interesd. And save for me, it is following, when i feel that want and desire to write, i will. A lot of my stuff is kind of slowing down a little bit. I'm focusing on writing my book. There's that that's taking up a lot of brain power.
