The Trees Are Planted Over the Ruins of Palestinian Villages
The trees are planted in order to cover up and deny the ruins of the villages of these people who have been expelled during the ethnic cleansing of Palestine. It's very, very hard to get good liberal Western subjects to support ethnic cleansing, which is what that is or old demolition. But it's much easier to say, Hey, do you support the project of a forest station planting forests where there's allegedly nothing but a barren landscape? And so now you can see where we're going, right?
