A Different Approach to Product Indicators for Latent Variable Interactions
There was not a unified voice in how to do this. And it really was just let's throw stuff at the wall and see what sticks. So from that time to now, I would say that we have sort of settled on these two approaches for dealing with latent variable interactions. The idea is that you don't reuse any variables, right? That's the key. If you have three indicators on one factor and five indicators on the other, you got two who'll just be left out of the interaction dance.
