Adolf's Second Trial
Adolf lutgart was found guilty of murdering his wife louisa in 1897. The jury could not reach a verdict, and he was sentenced to life in prison. Soon after being imprisoned, adolf complained that louise's ghost is tormenting him. Around the same time, neighbors report seeing what they think is louis' ghost back from the dead in the house. Adolf later died at age 53 due to fatty degenerative heart disease. Despite some accounts claiming that louisa haunted her husband until he died, the cause of death is officially recorded as fatty degenerativeheart disease.
