The Pythagorean Diaspora

There's one final thinker of the Italian lineage which we must consider, and this is Empedocles. He lived in the 5th century in the Sicilian colony of Akragas. We shall return to this thinker in a few weeks' time and see if we can't come to grips with the hidden spectre haunting Western thought.
