Introduction

Pelvic injury is an injury pattern that we're all fairly familiar with from both the pre-hospital and in-hospital setting. Mortality rates associated with pelvic fracture are pretty high, particularly in patients with hemodynamic instability. Most injuries occur in two different age brackets, basically the 15 to 30 year olds and the over 60s.
