The Importance of Having a Team in a Startup

In the early days we had one production facility, our office was upstairs and had no windows. We would do a stand-up every morning with the entire team and it was really, really easy to stay on the same page. And I started to see the misalignment so to speak, talking with some folks in other parts of the company that might not necessarily be on our executive team. So after raising my first round of capital, I finally had the ability to attract what I call kind of a higher caliber talent.
