The Colour of Morning

The colour of morning is one thing that's sometimes sighted, isn't it? Yes. I don't think we tend to see quite as much of it in henry's reign as we do later. But certainly, yes, that use of purple, scarlet, blue, all of these are very distinctive and tied to the liturgical year. One of the other areis where we find henry using a lot of colour ar the clothes that are ordered for the jousts as well. And we see lots of yellow and blue and lots of parti coloured clothes, which, again, you don't see in his own fashionable wardrobe.
