Bob Greene: The death of whatever it is now 3000 newspapers, I mean, that really hurts. How the heck you're going to pay attention to what's going on locally if no one's covering it? He says a politician might want to be an journalism free zone because then no one's watching them. Greene: In New York, we have some green shoots on this front. But red and blue, it's like, you don't want a local paper.
