The Importance of Humility in the Christian Tradition
I believe the scriptures is God's words to us and so I want to want the scripture to be authoritative over how we think about these things. There are there are lots of Christians who I see who are going in a direction where there really is no functional biblical authority. We also need to look at we need to let we need to interpret the Bible in its own historical context even if it may seem more misogynistic from our modern Western perspective. The Bible would be seen as pretty progressive.
