Are You Keeping 10% of Your Portfolio in Cash or Short-Term Bonds?
We think high yield is very appealing at 9% yields. The problem is we haven't really, I don't think discount of the weakness in the economy that's coming and there's probably more shakeout there. We're not extending duration to 30 years, but we definitely think you should be moving out to at least an ag-like duration in portfolios. If you're in a higher tax bracket, the money market still offers some very attractive tax exempt returns.
