I think that a lot of times folks don't really think through just how much we take on authority I think that there's a kind of a naivete about about our human ability to acquire certainty about everything that we know for instance. How do any of us know Great Britain is an island it's a great example how do any of them know it's on all the maps right right and thereYeah there are certainly more a higher order sources of tradition but the some even some of my best teachers would well where did I receive the faith I mean it's through the sacraments of course but there they come in the context of the the first and most essential natural society the family.
