Mediation - The Inferential Test of Indirect Effects
An inferential test of an indirect effect is simply a compound perimeter. We have perimeters in our model, and we can do anything we want with them. There's not a causal ence in that compound perameter that is any stronger than any other single headed arror That you have. And to take the product of a string of regression coefficients that gives us a new perimeter estimate. It's just a new piece of information that's distilled from or typical s m or typical path model.
