How to Deal With a Lost Key

The app will say, Hey, you know what? Buddy walked by Phil's place and caught the beacon. So this is where it was last seen. Can those track devices work without your phone? Like, does your phone, because what happens if you don't open the tracker app? Does that mean that you won't have an update of where those devices are in the world? Yeah. I haven't played with this, but in theory, it should still be able to be picked up by something like room assistant or happy bubbles for example.
