The Orphic Tradition
i had always been under the impression that the tradition revolved mostly around the underworld and the after life because of new characters like zagreus, who ill talk about in detail next week. The connection is most clear in the famous gold tablets that have been found across the greek world and beyond,. They appear to be pretty broadly accepted to be orphic in nature, and absolutely do revolve around the after life. And there are also hymns to the gods and even a story of the argonauts centuring orpheus. Don't worry, though, we will revisit the alternate theogones known as the orphic theogones because they are wild.
