iagos: It's become unfashionable to be optimistic, even about the world in general. I love books and ideas which show how much better things are than they were just few decades ago. The idea that we look at the past with rose tinted spectacles has some basis in evidence. And yes, if you actually look at that point in my life, i mean, it was a period of inflation. But ye, iagos have happy memories of those childhood years.
