The jury awarded $2 million in compensatory damages for the sexual assault and battery. They also found that Trump had acted maliciously out of hatred, ill will, spite or wanton reckless or willful disregard of the rights of a number. And there they awarded again, not a staggering amount, but $280,000 in pure punitive damages.
