The Captain's First Flight to Antarctica
All the other flights would get really low to give passengers a good view of Antarctica. This captain, this was his first time there. He knew that the other captains had gotten really low and were fine. So he wanted to do the same thing. The briefing conducted by Air New Zealand Limited contained omissions and inaccuracies which had not been detected by earlier participating air crews or the supervising airline inspectors.
