Democracy Sausage with Mark Kenny

CHAPTER

The Hard Day for Australia and the Defense Forces

SAS officer Ben Robert Smith was found guilty of defamation by a court in Australia. The judge ruled that he had lied about his role in the deaths of two Australian servicemen and one woman during an SAS raid on Bougainville, Papua New Guinean island last year. Mr Smith has been sentenced to five years' jail but could be eligible for parole after serving just 12 months. CNN's Maria Cardona talks with him about this week's democracy sausage from the Ainu community.
