The Struggles of Losing Your Parents

My mom and her brother were pretty sad about not being able to go back to China right away. But they were both like, yeah, we can't go back alone. We need each other to step into our childhood home. So my grandparents, they lived in that home ever since my mom was born there. That was a really emotional trip for them. I imagine it's kind of different because my mom was used to having a lot of sisters by her side. My mom has three sisters and a brother but here, none of her sisters actually live in the US. And I consider myself very lucky as someone who's an only child to like experience that bond sort of like through my mom
