Energy Sanctions

The sheer size of the Russian military is not something that the Ukrainians could surmount. The energy sanctions, what is that? Who's that harming? The ruble is at historic highs. It just doesn't really make a meaningful difference in terms of the Russian economy. And does the US really want its closest allies to become like a basket case if they keep going down this path?
