Sally Kohn: The boy girl gap is as big or bigger than the rich versus poor student gap in some places. She says it's both biological and sociological; girls hit puberty a bit earlier, so their brains develop more mature. Kohn: It took the women's movement to expose the ways in which the education system might actually somewhat disfavor the boys and men.
