The Future of Staking in the Crypto Space
With staking as it's seen in the crypto space you can do it several ways. You can basically ask people to lock up tokens and then return give them more governance power or you can ask them to lock it up and just give them economic power. For sophisticated stakers who follow this base very closely to take money from non-stakers seems a little bit off to me. Most protocols that profit that they generate they could probably reinvest it back into the protocol at a higher rate of return than the dividend deal that they pay the stakers on an aftertax basis.
