The Balance Between Solitude and Innovation
Much of the work is done by one person alone in a room where no one else can hear or see them and then they bring it back out into the world. There's definitely a balance you know that needs to be adhered to to be successful in your medium but also just to be grounded right because if you become a hermit completely removed from society in a sense you become out of touch with what the norms are of your medium. innovation in any medium relies on an engagement with the current state of that medium I think that's what you're implying too as far as how Emily would have done in today's world oh man would she be on Instagram like as well?
