How to Do the Fantastic

I think really the procedural elements enhance some of the elements of the fantastic. I mean, it gives it, it offers you a way to really ground it and make the unreal seem very real. There's two different ways of doing the fantastic and they allow you to do different things. And having done the former most of my books so far, I wanted to try with the latter in this one. Personally, if this book works, it works because it is so nearly the real world,. much, much better than if it had been set on an asteroid or in a magical kingdom.
