This is from our new survey, the religious abuse slash trauma survey. A woman who calls herself me writes, where do I begin? She was raised by a very religious single mother. We were forced to read the Bible and pray for hours at a time,. On many occasions, we fasted purposefully going without food as well. The longest fast I ever did was for seven days.
