The hardest skill for handlers to develop is reading their dog and knowing that, oh, my dog is doing X, that means they're not confident or they're a little nervous. I think that's very hard because dogs don't speak our language. So if you aren't sure, sometimes when you're in the moment, there's so much to think about, right? My mechanics, what am I doing? Marking, getting the food or the toy to the dog?"
