Pesticide residues are going to be lower on organically grown produce as opposed to conventionally grown produce based on this study. Another thing that was found in this research was that the cadmium concentrations were higher in the conventionally growing produce versus the organic. We can still wash off even those small amounts by just soaking our produce in warm water 10 to 15 minutes. It's more effective if you add a bit of baking soda.
