Two years into studying medicine you feel like, well, i shouldn't sqan, that i should finish my qualification. You won't easily be able to switch back into being a doctor unless you do the two first foundation years. I think another thing going on is that it can take you just a while to really understand how you feel about something. Don't get too anchored on the one thing that you've so far enjoyed.
